Quality

Quality assurance is of the utmost importance to us. Our quality system is ISO-9001 &
QS-9000 based. A copy of our certificate is available upon request. Independence Tooling consists of experienced and dedicated individuals highly regarded in the Automotive and Aerospace Industries. Independence Tooling's project manager is used as a single point of contact to make the Quality Assurance system easier for our customer. Independence Tooling then works in conjunction with the manufacturing company's Quality Assurance staff. All manufacturing resources we
work with are ISO compliant.

Independence Tooling conforms to and implements our customer standards to insure the correct certification process is performed at the highest level. The inspection process uses a quality manufacturing plan to ensure that all quality requirements are met during the manufacturing process. A certification of tooling conformance is also required to ultimately concur design, engineering, and manufacturing to meet all standards that are specified in the purchase order document and address any addendums to the agreement.

Data Management
Independence Tooling has developed a secure internal process for the management of data. This process uses a checklist that is used by everyone to ensure that the tracking of incoming and outgoing data can be continually monitored. This allows for program management to check the date of any data sent to or from any customer at any given time as well as when the quote data was received. We have also assisted our customers in the training and use of this secure process to help improve and safeguard their data management system.

Data Translations
The growth of the tooling and technological industries has placed a demand on all tooling suppliers. These suppliers should be able to accept data in any software format. Independence Tooling has worked extensively to accommodate several data formats, offering to our customers data translations from one format to another. In the development of this area we have created a verification method, this is used to verify that the data translated is within a defined tolerance of the source data.
