The Independence Tooling Design team is composed of highly diverse computer and manufacturing professionals that specialize in tool design & Build. We have selected CATIA, as our primary tool design software, for its superior capability to surface, design, program and draft. Our staff has extensive knowledge in design and manufacturing of the tool processes below:

Aerospace
Assembly Tooling: Floor Assembly Jigs (FAJ), Assembly Jigs (AJ), and Weld Assembly Jigs.
Automated Tooling: Air Assisted Holding Fixtures, Robotic Weld Lines, and Automated Assembly Stations.
Composite Tooling: Master Model Design, Bond Tools, Compression Molds, Lay-up and Cure Tools and RTM Tooling.
Fixtures and Jigs: Master Gages, CMM Inspection Fixtures, Mill Fixtures, Check Gages, Drill and Trim Fixtures.

Proficient in both metal and composite tooling design, Independence Tooling is capable of manufacturing complete tooling families from concept to production.

Sub-Assembly Tooling: Sub-Assembly Fixutes, Welding, Piercing and Support Tooling.
Automated Tooling: Fully Automatic Weld-Lines, Robotic Weld Lines, and Automated Assembly Equipment.
Gages: CMM Check Fixtures & Gages.
